Not In Kansas Anymore

I came home today to find a tumbleweed sitting on my front porch.

Add this to the list of mundane things that I never expected to see/do.

What was it doing there?

one time i saw tumbleweed on racine ave down near UIC. i thought that i was hallucinating but it was really frickin' tumbleweed. I have no idea where it came from. my guess was always that someone had it on their porch as a decoration of sorts and then it did what tumbleweed does.

I dig, man. I dig.

Every so often, those'll roll up and smack your windshield as you drive down the middle of California on the I-5, and you realize you're not in either of the two cities the rest of the country thinks of as CA. And that the state is bigger than anybody really thinks.

First of all, I don't find that all that mundane.

Second of all, as soon as you find Sam Elliot sacked out on your porch, I want pictures.

To quote Mitch Hedberg, "Coolest infestation ever."
