Today's highlight:

Woman walks into The Minuteman and asks for an item. I look for it, realize that it's not easily findable with our database, the manager standing next to me agrees so I head to the floor to look for it with her.

Milestones

Right now I'm trying to figure out how to live my life and work at The Minuteman. We'll see how that goes. More on that tomorrow...or the next day, we'll see.

Two things, though.

First, tonight is the 11th anniversary of the beginning of the Monday Night Wars. I didn't realize it until I saw the "This Week in Wrestling History" segment on tonight's Raw.

It's funny, 11 years ago tonight I was in my room with Gunder, wondering what the hell 'Mente was doing watching wrestling. Little did I know then that the events of that night would forever change my life, lead me to Kansas and...well, you know the rest.

Though...I think I'm sad that I'll never really get to write the definitive history of that particular saga. And don't say "never say never." Cuz, well, I'm really never gonna write it. Too painful.

Also, Steve Irwin...The Crocodile Hunter died.

Someone came into The Minuteman today really broken up about it. I don't know how to feel about that.

I wish I had more time to expound on that, but I don't.

Bizarre Love Triangle

Amongst the many things I've had bouncing around my head is the bizarre love triangle that's cropped up on For Better or For Worse.

I know, I know, I'm a freaky-assed loser. But ever since the days of Degrassi Junior High, I've been a sucker for Canadian melodrama.

New Favorite Dude

This dude, I love. No, not Ken Starr. The dude who held up a "Bonghits for Jesus" sign. Pure brilliance, yo. Though, I have to admit, as I was reading this article, I was really, really disappointed that the kid hadn't started up an organization that actually took bonghits for Jesus. Though, I guess this way it's a much more elegant challenge of the First Amendment as it relates to schools.

Still though. Bonghits for Jesus. That's funny.

Idiot of the Month

Right, so did anyone else hear about the guy who was arrested on felony charges of disorderly conduct when he told TSA officials at O'Hare that he had a bomb in his carry-on luggage.

Only, it wasn't a bomb. It was part of his penis pump.

Yup, Idiot of the Month right there. Give him a hand folks, I'm sure he'd really appreciate it.

Viva La Raza?

Aztecs Butchered, Ate Spanish Invaders- The Aztec empire left a legacy of art and violence that is still being discovered. the headline read.

And the link was something that played up the cannibalism even more.

I really don't know how to feel about this story.

In case you hadn't noticed, I've been kinda down the last few weeks. As a result, I wasn't blogging much, because, well, I didn't have much to say.

When I'm down the way I was, I keep myself going a million miles an hour with inane shit so I'm too busy to think about how stuff sucks but it's all such dumb shit that I'm filling my days with that there's nothing worth sharing about what I'm doing with my life.

So, I don't blog.
