Drieg Update
Reunion was this weekend and I'm going to talk about that some other time...not now though.
Still have updates to perform...
Today's topic: Drieg!
Drieg moved out of Palais Cruz (have I talked about this? tell me about it in the comments if I haven't...) at the beginning of the month.
Why?
He moved to New York to rehearse for his gig on the Non-Eq tour of Cats.
He's a vocal swing on the tour, which means that he's going to hang out in a recording booth backstage every night and sing as part of the non-dancing chorus. He'll also be understudying four other roles, which will keep him busy. I can't imagine what it'd be like to have five separate parts in your head at all times, yknow? Nevermind having to be able to start them at any point in the show.
The tour runs until the end of May 2007. Right now he'll be in Boston, Montreal, Vegas, Denver and Brazil...when I have a better tour schedule I'll let you all know.

Needless to say we're all really, really proud of him. He's making his way, one show at a time, yo.

but
since this is a non-eq production
he picks up no points for doing it
he's a good six months away from it
but, he took this gig thinking that it'd open up the door to quality bookings with his card
than staying in chicago to earn the card would.
