VMA Quandries
Ahhh, the VMAs. Back in the day it was the highlight of fall. Now, it's something I read about at CNN.com since I have class on Thursday nights.
Looking at the pictures from last night, I have to wonder. Doesn't Justin Timberlake look a lot like George Michael these days? Look at J.Timberlake on the left, and then George on the right. Kinda scary right? Or am I just seeing things? Talk to me people.
In other news, there's a new Charlie Brown Special on tonight. Lucy Must Be Traded, Charlie Brown, is tonight at 8p CT, on ABC. I'm intrigued to watch this, if only because Charles Schultz was very much against anyone else doing Peanuts after he died.

Well, it was revealed that Courtney Love is Marlon Brando's granddaughter, so I suppose anything is possible (at least in Hollywood).
I'm so disgusted with MTV these days. How can Cash not get the video of the year award? Blashpemy I tell you...

They're willing to make him look "hip," but apparently not hip enough to win an award on their own show...argh!
I agree that Cash should have won best video, but I am glad that if he had to be cheated out of a deserved win, he lost to Missy Elliott.
(By the way, love the Wedding Clock. It will help those of us who plan things at the last minute to figure out how much time we have to get down there... I see a car chase movie. Maybe staring Vin Diesel.)
Even J.Timberlake agrees with you guys. In the picture I posted he'd just beat out Cash. When he finally spoke he said, "This is a travesty! I demand a recount. . .My grandfather raised me on Johnny Cash," he said, "and I think he deserves this more than any of us in here tonight."
Seriously, though, what about that resemblance to Mr. Michael. Or am I seriously the only one seeing it?

Also, yeah GMS, the clock is nice. But please, no Vin Diesel. I think that if he showed up at my wedding, Nena might have to think twice about marrying me.
Unless I'm played by LL Cool J in the movie version of my wedding.
